Momentum Effect and Clip Mode? (Aircraft config)

#1
Hey all,

In the stock FSX Extra 300, there is;
MomentumEffect = False
ClipMode = Minimum

Does anyone know what these mean and or, what they do?

Many thanks, Bjoern.

So doing Red Bull race courses, you would have constantly had clipping of the vehicle and the camera constantly going back and fourth with high G maneuvers. This counters that. Makes sense.

Nah, clipping has nothing to do with head shake, but rather with size of the surrounding geometry. In tight, confined spaces such as cockpits, you'd ideally want no clipping at all, but I figure that's not possible.

I advise customers to add "ClipMode = Minimum" to their local copy of Cameras.cfg to prevent scene clipping in our fighter jets and helos.
