• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS MSFS Nameplates Not Showing

I have a mystery I can’t figure out.

My traffic nameplates have disappeared even though they are enabled in the Traffic settings in the MSFS menu.

Would anyone have any ideas how to get them back? I can’t find anywhere else that might cause them not to display.

Kai have you tried out PSXT with RealTraffic (cheap subscription) alongside of AIG aircraft?

I had it using FS Traffic and FSLTL models (and will install AIG and IVAO MTL models as well after my experience last night)

Live traffic within 30 seconds from FlightRadar24, tuned in to LiveATC which is also a 30 sec delay (pretty close match) and flew out of KLAX, KVNY and KCMA and I definitely can’t go back to scheduled AI traffic now. It was absolutely insane, a soup of real traffic over Los Angeles like fireflies all over the sky.

They’ve got databases of exactly where real world traffic parks and allows users to train airports with data from the live feed.

I haven’t heard much talk about this in the FS community and it works for P3D as well as MSFS.

PSXT works with AIG content just fine :)

I've been playing with it the last day or so and been running some tests on ideas that could be very beneficial...

Went out to YBAF to catalog some airport stuff for scenery today as well so haven't been fully focused on the AI side, but do now have 10,000+ aircraft types registered.

I'll head over to AIG forums to sign up when I get a moment.
