• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

New MiG-15Bis for P3D and MSFS&FSX from BearStudios.

P3D V1.3.3 may be ready on the first weekend at April and send to Just Flight /Simmarket for update.
MSFS V1.3.3 on just flight, simmarket and inibuild store will online on the second weekend

I am working on remix and improve sound effects package for all of versions.

Marketplace`s Ver1.3.3 will update in next month when it release V1.3.2

P3D-FSX Version V1.3.3

Features:
1, Prepar3D V4.4+ aircraft exterior and virtual cockpit models support PBR material, Windshield and glass texture changed parameter to make it closer to MSFS effect.(just shinning and refection, no frozen icing yet)

For the silly marketplace version control portal,
Current newest version for MSFS on Simmarket, Just Flight and Inibuild is Ver1.3.4
Same as the Marketplace require a updated package I have build yesterday

P3D-FSX:
Also need to update from Ver1.3.3 to Ver1.3.4 for fix a stupid bug:
The bomb fuse arm using tailwheel lock switch, but this aircraft`s tail bump can not be defined to a virtual tail wheel, or it may cause left main wheel have strange animation behavior,
My friend find this bug after Ver1.3.3, I fix it and make to a new version V1.3.4.

And, Both MSFS and P3D-FSX changed aileron animation code to get it have correct rotate angles.

But my VPN down, can not upload anything to any store today for update.
Yesterday, simmarket, Inibuild and Just Flight have received the MSFS Ver1.3.4. today, none update packages can upload from my side.
if the connection restored, I will sent out all Ver1.3.4 for all platform.

Updates incoming V1.3.5

Since Marketplace feedback issues for Xbox edition V1.3.4 on 5.1, I take 3 weeks working on hardware and sdk, finally have changes and issues fixed to update v1.3.5
When Marketplace edition send out, the Just Flight, Simmarket and Inibuild will update to V1.3.5 in this week,

Bug fix for MS market feedback on V1.3.4
One Xbox specific bug has been found:
1, - Checklists aren’t appearing on Xbox. Clicking the checklist icon opens only a blank page.
This issue because checklist has xml tags contains error and out of default step blocks.
* I modified checklist to have interactive elements and proper steps, it works on MSFS with Xbox PC App OK.

A few other recommendations for the Xbox version:
2, - A lot of the controls in the cockpit don’t have labels, so it’s difficult to know what each control does if you can’t read Russian.
* I have added all interactive elements, gauges TooltipID and HelpID labels in English, some of labels can readout status.

3, - The engine currently cannot be started when the ‘Engine Auto Start’ control assignment is triggered, the engine start process begins, but it looks like no fuel is added to the engine for light off.
Compatibility with all of the Xbox controller controls was something Microsoft used to ensure was functional in their testing process.
* I have change control logic for engine starting sequence both on ground and in air. Now it has 2 ways for operating, click start button/switch, or using default MSFS controller defines.

As a general bug on PC and Xbox:
4, - The vortices generate on the starboard (right) wing are currently being generated upside down. They need reversed to match the vortices generated on the port (left) wing.
* I have rebuild aircraft exterior model for fix the right vortices node to match left wing vortices node.

All reported issues on V1.3.4 from MS Market Edition has fixed in V1.3.5
But I have no Xbox console to test, just using Xbox app on PC for Xbox version study and test.
So if something still has compatibility issues on Xbox console, it is better to have reference how to study and fix it

Other features for V1.3.5
1, Re-define wheel brake lever attached on flight stick to add release parking brakes and status display. Keep normal wheel brake control mode after parking brake released.
2, Remove unnecessary code in model xml scripts
3, Set sound FX for eject seat active when canopy jettisoned and eject seat firing handle operated only.
4, Fix the airport com frequency list display longer then page lines issue in kneeboard panel.
5, Change main panel view camera to meet highlighted inactive checklist elements operates.
6, Change flight control surface for proper deflects angels.

V1.3.6 update coming
Feedback part2 from MS marketplace list 10 issues for inactive elements can not operate with xbox controller and in lock mode on PC, so I get them fix during past 4 weeks.

the issues list:
The following controls cannot be operated when with an Xbox controller:

Left Side Panel
· Engine 1 Starter Switch
· Flap Position Indicator
· RSI-6M Radio Volume Knob
· RSI-6M Band Knob
· Toggle Landing Lights Position
· Landing Gear Lever
· Oxygen Supply Valve
· Oxygen Regulator Valve
· Oxygen Emergency Valve
Right Side Panel
· ARK-5 Band Knob
· Oxygen Supply Valve
· Oxygen Regulator Valve
These can be replicated on PC by going to MSFS Options > General Options > Accessibility > Cockpit Interaction System > LOCK.

And when I change to lock mode, the kneeboard panel become blank with all pages. After xml code check, page recode, model texture change, so many study and test, the reasone is so simple:
Kneeboard shape has clickable interactive elements on pages, the mount base shape behind it has clickable hot area too for change it position in VC, so when in same line of sight, LOCK mode`s hightlight rending them in same layer.
That result none of 2 shapes operating incorrectly, display blank, clickable point inops.

Now, I have fix all of them, since the Edition out of Marketplace has same VC and model defines, so it will be update with fixed model to V1.3.6
(Just Flight, Simmarket and Inibuild will get update V1.3.6 in the next week)

Other major changes is interactive tooltips add to almost all interactive parts.
Offical remove support to MSFS version below 1.29.30, so I remove backup.zip in documents folder.

I hope this V1.3.6 may pass MS marketplace and get online.

No advance for UTI version model, I have almost 6 weeks to get single seat model working on Xbox, now the major issues fixed, can back to 2 seat cockpit build.
Other thing is F-86F-40 may in list for later developing stages. My new partner has basic models nearly done.

F-86 will be soon for MSFS. Blackbird (Milviz) will bring his Sabre to MSFS: https://msfsaddons.com/2023/02/26/b...30-black-hawk-sr-71-huey-f-15-pa-30-and-more/ "The F-86 Sabre is almost done", so maybe better to stay with MiGs, no competition here ;).

I wanted to replicate the 1958 air battle over the Taiwan Strait,F-86F-40 mod has the P3D/FSX version too.
This aircraft is intended to be bundled with the MiG-17F in later.

UTI(SB Lim2/FT-2) modeling by myself. Maybe I may get VC screenshot for 2-seat at the end of August.
I still study declassified documents from PLAAF during cultural revolution (1974) for simulate the flight characteristics with VK-1A engine and less internal fuel. main fuel tank on Bis reduce or removed for rear cockpit, so it may has less enduring then russia build UTI

U should change this metallic liveries, they make this plane look toyish and out of historic bounds. There is no transparent metallic paint irl. Change it asap my friend.

I can not see the detail changes rending in MSFS for aircraft skin if remove metallic layer texture, just using base one. Piantkit include aircraft package no metallic.
 
OK, MiG-15UTI for MSFS go live on Marketplace: (None armed version under MS Marketplace policy)
And Other Armed version aircraft release on Just Flight/ Simmarket.

The only difference for marketplace version is delete weapon shapes and related firing effects. Other functional elements are same one.
