• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

New MiG-15Bis for P3D and MSFS&FSX from BearStudios.

For the single seat MiG-15Bis update to 1.3.9 and furute working on MiG-15Bis/UTI
Current MiG-15Bis for MSFS and P3D/FSX also update to 1.3.9 version. Include Marketplace, Just Flight and Simmarket.

After MSFS 2024 go live and I have it`s SDK compare study,
If aircraft model/texture/animation...all elements based from MSFS 2020 SDK still compatible on 2024, I will just take test on 2024 and change titles for it.
When you obtains Ver1.3.9 MiG-15Bis or UTI aircraft from any publisher/market, not need to buy it twice.

If the MS change 2024 SDK, lost compatible, force us must rebuild new aircraft package for 2024, I will rebuild 2024 version for it.
If possible, keep all 2020 functions.

When using the version purchased a few weeks ago from Simmarket (I guess the unarmed UTI?) I noticed that when switching between external and internal views, the pilot's body shows up for a brief second, and the throttle lever seems to reset it's position. Example: Full throttle in external view, will move to cockpit view and the throttle will jump down to idle before jumping back up to full/set power. It seems to be two quick to actually impact engine parameters, but the animation resetting is notceable. This is the only aircraft that I know of that has this animation issue. Can it be looked at?

Thank you. I check it. Pilot shape controlled by view mode variable from SDK.it cause lag when process visible/hidden switch during external and VC switching. The same variable cause throttle animation in external and VC has position reset. Since these shape/animation asset build in VC indeed,exterior model just computing the view mode variable to let it working or hiding/move to key frame, so I will find out how to get them working without that variable. Since MiG-15 UTI and Bis v1.3.9 has very similar model control logic, this issue will occur on Bis model too.This may change when v1.4 update after 2024 version

OK, sim market and inibuild may take V1.4.0 online today.
Just Flight may take more days for it online.
I am moving forward to a new MiG aircraft now.

Is necessary for update P3D/FSX with similar features as Ver1.4.0 from MSFS2020/24?
 
Just bought uti on xbox, I cant find kneeboard with customization option, no clickable zones for it in cockpit. I can only customise load and pylons in default weight/ballace menu.

The method call display/hide the EFB on V1.4.0 (kneeboard on V1.3.9) is press the Marker/Beacon warning light which updisde on ADF/RMI indicator.
On EFB/KB, page switching by press 4 FS panel sub-window icons, the red X icon hide EFB//KB

I have no xbox hardware, just PC + Xbox controller.
Is it have no clickable zone on MiG-15Bis VC for all buttons and warning lights on Xbox?
 
Without manual I was not able to locate these clickzones. I will check it out. Manual for UTI version? Really like this small jet, uti looks like from manga ghibli ;)
OK I checked, marker/beacon light swap only GPS and rmi for ils, I can't find efb in UTI on xbox. BTW I'm talking about UTI version.

The EFB system only on MiG-15Bis,
The UTI aircraft, set radio frequency and navigation on GNS430 GPS based navigation system, to call it out, press Marker/Beacon light 2-3 times, or rotate ADF Mode knob (K-7 box) to On positions

I add EFB/KB in MiG-15Bis, for the only reason is retro RSI-6M russian radio have no method setting frequency directly to 50 band storage in aircraft. that need integrated panel for that operating.

The UTI aircraft RSIU-3 radio just has 4 band for frequencies, using GNS 430`s expend radio management and RSIU control box can set it easier than MiG-15Bis.
 
Payload and fuel setting, using MSFS default UI weight and balance pop-up.
default setting is carry 2x400liter PTB-400 drop tank.
the token weight for that is 70Ib

switch to PTB-300, change 70 to 55
switch to PTB-260 change to 28

when drop tank token weight changes, the fuel quantity in drop tanks will set to less than related drop tank capacity
Set token weight to 0 for dismount drop tanks
Xbox or PC version from MS marketplace, under MS rule, has no bomb shape payload.

Also follow same method, pilot shapes changes token weight 200, 190 for modern style default military jet one, 200-210 for retro russian 1950`s one.
 
Thx I think that would be all about setup. World be nice to have it somewhere written in small manual. I will paste this info on msfs forum if u don't mind.
The only system doubts I have with fuel cock and engine idle rpm level, after I run engine starter, fuel cock behave erratically cant be moved gradually down.

Hey just testing su16 beta Msfs2020 and it seems the trim system in UTI got broken, pitch trim is constantly dropping to - 35, roll trim is not responding at all. Or maybe Im missing something in plane setup? 🤔 There is no visible movent of the trim knobs.
