• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS New Plymouth (NZNP) preview. Also, Bellingham and Santa Fe update

Hi Everyone!

I have a preview regarding our New Plymouth (NZNP) scenery as well an update on Bellingham (KBLI) and Santa Fe (KSAF).

New Plymouth, New Zealand (NZNP): We are pleased to announce we are currently 75% of the way through development of New Plymouth airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is a complete redesign of our New Plymouth scenery we released back in 2013 for FSX & P3D. It will feature the newly constructed terminal and other upgrades that have recently been completed on the real-life airport.

I thought this would be a relatively quick project to port across to MSFS. Especially since the models are mostly completed from the first Riddlez NZNP (apart from the new terminal, a couple of new buildings and a few other things that need to be added).

Bellingham (KBLI): We are currently in the process of converting our FSX/P3D Bellingham scenery over to MSFS. This conversion will include upgrading the models and textures to MSFS spec. Adding in new additions to the airport that have been built in real life since the 2017 release. And adding an all-new high resolution aerial image base to the scenery.

Santa Fe (KSAF): A few years ago, Riddlez Interactive was developing Santa Fe Municipal airport for FSX and Prepar3D (There is a post on this forum about that project). We managed to get most of the airport complete, however development stalled. We now plan to continue development and repurposed the project to become a MSFS airport.
