• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Sorry, but as I already was afraid of, there is no sign of ESOW in that download and neither does it show in any of the other sceneries that are in there.
Yea sorry seems like I messed up Skavsta and Vasteras.. both low cost airports

First of all: Great scenery! Using version 3 and it's easy to see the changes since version 1.

But I have a question. I want to edit the AFCAD for the airport, but everytime I comple the BGL, the ground polygons are gone. I only get them back when I revert to the original AFCAD (thankfully I have made backup). What I simply get them I try to add a new compiled AFCAD is the background image and not the ground polygons.

Are the AFCAD bgl (ESGG_P3Dv4.bgl) somehow "linked" to the ground polygon bgl (ESGG_P3Dv4_GP.bgl)?

I'm using ADE to update the AFCAD.

Hi,

No they are not linked.
However, when you import the ESGG_P3Dv4.bgl (there are no objects, flattens nor GP's in there) and then compile again, you get a new bgl without objects, flattens or GP's if you do not 'split compile' and take into account the following:
In ADE compile only the airport and scenery and make sure you uncheck the ' Compile Custom GP Objects' and the 'Compile Terrain Objects' in the Compile options and check 'Compile Seperate Airport and Object BGL Files'.
I think you need the Pro Key to do it.

Thanks, but even though I do have the Pro key, I can only uncheck "Compile Airport and Scenery" and the "Compile Seperate Airport and Object BGL Files". The "Compile Custom GP Objects " and "Compile Terrain Objects" are both unchecked and grayed out. So I can't do anything about them at all.

Update. I just tried to compile the original file with only those 2 things I can check, and that worked great. The ground polygons were there and the airport was full of life. Now it's time to make some adjustments to the gates so my AI will park at the right gates.

Hi,

P3Dv4.3 is out.
I am downloading it and will check whether this update has any consequences (for better or for worse, till FSDeveloper do us part:)) for our ESGGv3 for P3Dv4.
Will keep you informed on this site only.

Hi all,

Checked ESGG v3 on its P3Dv4.3 compatibility and could find no changes for the worse, on the contrary, smooth is the word and my FPS have gone up slightly (~ 5+) at night with dynamic lights activated.
I did have to delete the P3D.cfg and the shader cache though and let P3D rebuild it .Hence no cfg tweaks as I have not yet found time to do that.
My rather low end PC: W7- 64bit, Intel I5 Quadcore 3.2Ghz, 8Gb RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 650Ti).

Hi all,

Almost one year later!
We found out that our ESGGv3 (the latest one with the changes to the airport done as of july 2018) was not working in FSX.
There was a mixup with files that were for P3Dv4 and P3Dv3 as the Simmarket installer did not install the correct FSX compiled files for FSX.
Anyone that does have those problems should contact either me or my partner and we will send you the right ones.

Almost one year later:).
We are working on an update for ESGG with the latest changes of the airport and its surroundings (new terminal and jetways and extensive changes to the northeast side of the airport.
Unfortunately, ORBX came in between with their own ORBX based ESGG scenery they are announcing to come soon (with a lot of winter scenery they announce as a breakthrough but we already had in our version).
So what? Nothing much, we just continue improving things and as soon as all the work in the real life ESGG has finished, we will come up with with our update.
We do not know yet when that will be (probably after the end of summer when we will also know what type of new jetways (ordered from Spain) will look like and what the new terminal will really look like.
It will either be freeware or with a reduced price for earlier versions.
We cannot do much more for the time being because the works are still going on and new photoreal will only become available in spring or early summer 2020.
If you want screenshots of what we already have done to improve the scenery, do tell us.
By the way, our scenery will be available both for FSX and early P3D versions as well as for P3Dv4.5.
