Newbie needing help with simple propellor model


I am new to this forum and in need of a little help. I have little or no experience with CAD but purchased Abacuspubs FS Design Studio to create a simple model for FSX/Prepar3d that has only a simple Virtual Cockpit consisting of the Propellor and engine cowling only and nothing else.

I partly managed it but my prop animation looks dreadfull compared to some of the other aircrafts, mine always stops in exactly the same position (unrealistic) and looks very jerky and unsmooth.

I am currently trying to get to grips with GMax hoping this is going to be better but was wondering if anyone be willing to share one of thier prop models and animation to help me in the right direction?

I would suggest heading over to youtube and check out Krisby's videos. They definitely helped me with the modelling aspects. here is his link:

I would also suggest moving away from Gmax as it is quite dated now and Max has taken over. Personally I would suggest using Blender as its free to use and you can follow Krisby's tutorials with it as he uses the same program.
