• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v3 No ALT.bgl after Revised Altitude

I am doing some work on a South American airport, SPRU, using a saved stock airport of this name. The stock elevation is 105.997 and I am trying to increase this to a correct elevation of 128 feet taken from the Navigraph Chart. In ADE v01.78.7298 the header indicates 'Revised Alt', I have changed the altitude in the Change Airport Reference Data and in the Raw Data view RevisedAltitude is indicated as True. I have deleted the Original Airport Background/Flatten Mask Class Map ExcludeAutogen and made a new one at the 128ft altitude. All seemed to compile ok however in the Flight Sim (P3Dv3.4) the area is at the new elevation but the Runway is sunken to the Stock elevation. In the World/Scenery folder I cannot find a ALT.bgl under SPRU. I have used this method many times in the past without problems. Sorry this explanation is long but could you please advise.
Alt files are placed in scenery\world\scenery
Sorry, there is no Alt.bgl for this airport (SPRU) in my P3dv3.4/Scenery/World/scenery folder. Is also the same with SPCL airport. Maybe a ADEX reinstall will help.

Have done a new install of ADE 1.8, now the ALT.bgl's are there for both my missing airports and in the FSim everything appears to be good. Thanks for your time.
