• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

FS2004 no taxi light on AI aircraft during daytime

This has really REALLY bugged me for a long time now. I use to be able to see taxi lights on the nose gear of AI aircraft during daytime but I have noticed since updating with newer models (FAIB/TFS etc) that no taxi light on the nose is visible during day. The only time they are visible is sunrise/sunset/night. I tried tweaking the coordinates in the aircraft.cfg and changing the fx file in use but to no avail. Is it possible using Jan Martin's FDEs have changed some global setting? I use to use shockwave lights too and recently installed the update for enable lights during the day but that hasn't made any difference either.

As reference, this is the FAIB A320IAE [lights] settings.

Tried to attach the fx_2.bmp been used from the effects texture directory but doesn't seem to want to (must be banned file extension).

Any ideas? I Just simply want to be able to see a bright light on the nose wheels on all AI models during day for taxi.
 
Ok so I've done some digging and figured out what the issue is with. I changed my taxi light type to '1' (beacon) instead of '6' (taxi) so it now shows so it seems like the properties of a taxi light type have been universally changed somewhere so it doesn't appear. Any ideas how to change it?
