• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.

MSFS Ortho Images not displaying

Hi,

I've been following this tutorial (https://www.jottacloud.com/s/1619d6c999b0618432a8ab3eb117e124950) to try and get a Google maps image into the sim. I've followed the steps to the letter, but nothing is displaying after restarting the sim - it's still showing the default Bing images. Any suggestions as to what is going wrong here? Packages have been made and placed in the Community folder, and the sim restarted.

On a further note, is there a way to get the two parts of this project (the ground image and the airport BGL itself) to be placed in the same folder as part of the build? At the moment my package folder contains two different folders to move over to Community - one for the airport and one for the ortho image.

My console view in sim looks like this:

@zhaoqingMal You have a few errors going on there, so something is definitely not right. How is your project directory structured (both files and folders)? Also, what files were in the output folder?

Console looks ok to me, there’s always some errors showing. ContentInfo should not be required.
Does it actually create .cgl file in Packages\flyingrabbit-aerialimages-engv\cgl directory?

On your second question, you can add aerial to your airport project by adding cgl from project editor. Then those will be on same folder.

Thanks guys. Everything is okay, it's related to the bug with too many ortho sceneries in the same area. I have Orbx EGNM installed, which was stopping it from displaying. Once I removed that everything appeared correctly.
