• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Ortho4XP: Arc no imagery

Hello everyone!

since a few days I cannot download imagery with Ortho4XP, using the Arc Imagery.
Everything stays white, and I can't open a tile in the browser as well, i.e.

However, if I do not call up this tile via my internet line, but via mobile internet from my mobile phone, everything works normally.
The problem also occurs with different browsers and even with different computers. No matter what I do, I can no longer access the tiles via my internet connection.
Does anyone have any idea what the reason could be?

It appears you have been banned by ArcGis. Perhaps due to overuse of the rest services, or perhaps for violating their terms of service regarding tile downloading.

Export:
This layer is not intended to be used to export tiles for offline. If you would like to export imagery for offline use in ArcGIS applications, you may use the World Imagery (for Export) layer, which is intended for this purpose.

Data Collection and Editing: This layer may be used in various ArcGIS apps to support data collection and editing, with the results used internally or shared with others, as described for these use cases.

Yes, I have already thought of something like that, but I would still be surprised.
The last few days I have only integrated the basemap into ArcGIS - and worked a lot with it, yes - but I have not downloaded any data via their services in that sense.

Overuse could be, of course. But what about companies where hundreds of people work with the basemaps...
Well, I think I'll write to the support and have a look.
