• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Parking Codes of Governmental aircraft

Hey guys & girls

I am currently working on my Aerosoft Luxembourg Airports Update V6.
I want to add Parking Codes to Governmental aircraft (Like the AirForceOne, Sarkozy One and so on...)
But I cannot find on the net Parking Codes for those AI-Aircraft. Is there someone who knows any parking codes for governmental aircraft's?

Thanks in advance.

BTW: If someone knows a few things to fix, I would be glad if he/she would write me!

greets Kevin

Hi: Kevin
I assuming fs2004

Make up your own code and color use either Airport Editor 9x or AFCAD2:D

Then edit AI aircraft *cfg using your custom parking code.

I don't know if I /we can help unless you tell us what is is you need help with.

Since everything about AF1 is a secret, even if there were parking codes, they wouldn't tell us. That would be my guess, anyway.

Ok thanks!

The thing is the following:
I am currently working on V6 of my Aerosoft Luxembourg Airports Update. I have made a few fixes and some changes, but one thing I'm missing:
As Luxembourg has a lot of General Aviation Traffic and a lot of Governmental aircraft I would like that they will also stay at a more or less right place. To make them fly to that Gate I want I use Parking Codes. But I don't know any parking codes of governmental aircraft for letting them rest on the right place.

In a download from avsim.com I found for Air Force Two for example:
atc_parking_codes=1AS

But I don't know if they are correct so I asked in this board, but as I could see, those parking codes are not official. So I think I will make my own codes and write into the readme that users should use that Parking Code (adding it into the aircraft.cfg)!

But thanks for your help!

Rather than add specific parking codes for aircraft which are not at your airport every day, use uncoded parking spots of the proper size. Then the extra aircraft will be assigned to those spots first.

Once you get past about four parking codes for a parking spot, they don't work correctly all the time anyway.
