just a questing: i always wanted to know where all Designers get there Sources for there Scenerys, did you visit the Airport, did you have some peoples at the Airport making Photos?
I'll answer this for you,Mathias357.
Most of the airports in my projects, I have never been there before. My last project is Samui International Airport which I have either never been there.
I have to look at all the pictures, photos I can find and figure out where those pictures taken. Acompany with satellite photo, I gradually constructed all the scene in my head. Video in you tube helps a lot too.
Some of the airports, the real world captains send us some pictures.
Source of those photos are from; Panoramio.com, Airliners.net, Hflight.net (which is travelling web site). Many, many more sites I cannot remember. It is quite a research there. Moreover, it is difficult to know where those photos are from. Some photos will imply the others where they are. Much like jigsaw in my mind, I think.
It is more fun, belive me, if you have never been there. And finally you construct the whole thing and someone who has been there told you that it is resamble to the real thing. You will be pround of that.
