this is to present our first aircraft at FlyingQuixote team, the Aermacchi MB-339 A!
Product was released as early access at August 2020, and since then we have published several updates, both scheduled and based on users' feedback.
The spirit of the project is in fact to provide at a lower price a product with the most important features, and periodically update it for free with new ones. As of now, the main features of the aircraft are:

- model based on official manuals of Aermacchi MB-339
- flight dynamics modeled using analytical approach (ROSKAM, USAF DATCOM) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools
- 4096x4096 hi-fi texturing, and PBR mapping modelling to produce a truly 3D feel
- animated and clickable 3D virtual cockpit
- real interior mirrors
- seat adjustment position and pilot weight settings
- embedded and interactive checklist inside P3D kneeboard
- advanced light system with dimmerable instruments lights
- basic Flight Director functionalities
- complete radio stack (VHF/UHF/VOR/TACAN/ADF) and GPS
- coloured smoke system for PAN version (white/red/green, used by Italian "Frecce Tricolori" aerobatic team)
- additional rear cockpit with tent (used for blind flight training)
- accurate 3D seat
- 5 different liveries
In our schedule, the next steps will be:
- conversion for FSX
- Tacpack integration for military version
- missions package
