Btw I had to use 3ds max 2014 on my colleagues PC since I only have 3ds max 7 and upgrading to 3ds max 2014 is totally out of my question and pocket!
I then imported the mesh back into 3ds max 7 and applied the newly created AO map again.
Also make sure you follow all the steps, I was missing a few and wasn't able to successfully create an AO map
Not yet, reading through the SDK in order to find out how. All i have right now is a few 3d models fit together in 3dsmaxRight! I have really respect for your textures sir! The model is fine too, but the textures add even more. Already tried some importing in FSX?
Yeah, i kinda guessed that, its all fixed now working on other external details now.Lol, we've all been there! The model should be pointing nose UP in Top view in Max or Gmax: just rotate the whole model 180 degrees.
And keep going! It's always good to see your work in the sim, check it often!
