SDK Terraforming height = different in game?

Hey guys & gals,

Long time dev, first time poster, thanks for having me.
(edit: MSFS2020 SDK question on airport Terraforming - hope I'm in the right forum, cheers)

Problem:
Setting ground terraforming height in SDK saves as a completely different height in game.

For example I smooth out an area in the SDK, save > build > put in community folder, in game its a drastically different height.
Just placing a polygon or rectangle for terraforming has this effect too. Setting a wider falloff distance just makes the bump error smoother.

Both polygons & rectangles cause same issue, tried changing the priority levels, using a grid. Tried with an airport set and without.
I'm obviously missing a setting like snap terraforming to ground or I guess a compiling setting but can’t for the life of me find it, any help or point in a direction would be much appreciated, cheers!

I've noticed this as well. You set it to the correct height and it pops up just a little or it may go down a little. Looking for a fix as well. Will share if I find before you update the community.

Thanks kindly friend! The work around being to tinker with the heights until you achieve the results in game is tedious, leaves a giant hole in the SDK work space and is faster just to modify custom objects to fit on a slope. I've put a ticket in with zendesk. It's a strange one, in some areas I've been able to use the terraforming to an impressive level of detail, in others it flat out breaks. It can't be a common issue as there'd be more chat about it. I'm wondering if its the terraforming tool's back end getting garbled in the terrain mesh not working out modified values correctly.
I'll update if I hear anything, cheers.

Cool, because I am having trouble getting the nice clean edge on my terraforming that I am looking for.
