• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

traffic tools shows pre taxi out. planes back up, engines running, and then they just there and they do not proceed. ade fault finder shows no faults. ade showed closed rwy, but I fixed that. Now no faults. Regardless, should I just redo the rwy? any other ideas?

I am finding out just now that there is something wrong with the planes. checking for fs9 crap. I subbed the bi-plane for a cessna 172. It is working. ERGO- de planes, de planes!

I donwloaded and installed another bi-plane. It does the same thing. Are biplanes not functional n traffic files?

Biplanes are perfectly functional if they're correctly coded for the sim you're using. However, many AI legacy aircraft that you may be using were originally coded for FS9 and may well not work well in later sims - at least, not without some work.

If your biplanes are (or were) military, there's a good chance than an FSX or P3D version has been coded and made available at MAIW. Also, several were included in the freeware Orbx Australasia AI pack, and many of those are ex-MAIW products updated for P3Dv4+. If re-sourcing your models from those places doesn't or can't work, you can try a conversion of the .mdl file in MCX. If that also fails, you may need a new .air file from the developer.
