• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello, Vortex Simulations, a new flight simulation development company are looking for a few new members to join our team as volunteers! We are looking for people who are experienced in modelling and texturing to join the team, with skills in the programs 3DS Max and GMAX. The benefits of someone taking these roles are things such as social recognition and team accomplishment
You interested?
Send our project manager an Email: vortexsimulationsgroup@gmail.com
Thanks!

Lay off the dumb human resource manangement speak and just say which kind of project you envision and need help with. If anybody's interested, he/she will get in touch with you. That's how recruitment works in the flight simulator work.

And NEVER post your e-mail address online. N-E-V-E-R!

James, people can get testy with this type of request. People are suspicious of folks who may be avoiding the learning process, by having already skilled people do the work and the "team leader" puts out the news that "we" did a new project!

Folks that have developed their skills aren't looking for a "boss", unless it provides them compensation that makes this use of their time more interesting than their current project.

That's why the snark over your goofy corporate hr terms. Somehow you intuitively know you are trying to persuade people to take on your project instead of what they are already working on, and you haven't a real reason to offer as why they should.

Beyond the nonsense, what would be a real reason to devote time to your project? Would the person be better off somehow, after the project was completed? Would a worker learn something new that he/she couldn't learn otherwise? Do you have special skills that a designer could learn from you?
