Hello there. I have given up on using Live Traffic in MSFS2020, and decided that I prefer to use OFFLINE AI Traffic. I have several FSX converted aircraft, which I think are converted correctly. I have used AIFP 3 to compile AIG* flightplans which have been placed in the Custom Traffic folder, within Community folder, refreshed the .json file accordingly, but I cant get ANY to show up, so I have 2 questions.
In each aircraft.cfg file I have set icao_generic=1 and IsAirTraffic=1, so I assume that I need to set in the traffic options "Use generic aircraft models to ON. The problem is, whether its ON or OFF, the sim crashes when its loading the selected airport. As soon as I take out the traffic files associated with the new AI, it loads OK, so dont know if its the newly added traffic files, or the newly added AI aircraft.
I have AI Airliners traffic density set at 54%
My second question is regarding the fs10.aircrafttypes.csv file. Does this file have to be in the same folder as the newly created traffic files (Like it is in the original FS_base_ai_traffic folder) but more importantly, does it need to be updated to reflect the newly added ai aircraft and be put into the Custom AI folder, within the community folder? Perhaps this is why the sim is crashing when loading up the selected flight, as I don't have that .csv file in my Custom traffic folder?
Below is an example of a newly added FSX converted aircraft
Thanks for any comments! Cheers Chris
