• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I don't think I've ever been this hyped for a scenery. Looks like you're getting close and to finish and I absolutely can't wait to buy.
Are you gonna make Haneda too in the future?

Thank you!
Narita Airport may take another few months to complete.
It seems that other teams are working on Haneda Airport. Maybe I will avoid conflicts at the next airport.
The next airport I am currently planning is an airport in China.

I remember DD was working on Haneda, maybe I remembered it wrong.
oh yes, I guess so. I wasn't really impressed with their narita scenery. there quality doesnt appear to have improved over the last several years. for example the quality of WF scenery studio has improved quite a lot since there ZBAA release. just look at their previews of shanghai pudong

I often chat with WF developers.
They spent a lot of thought on making ZSPD this time, and I believe it will be amazing and worth looking forward to!

Do you have any plans to create a scenery at Incheon Airport? If you make an Incheon scene, it will be the best scenery.

First of all, Happy New year and Best wishes :)

Hello!
I usually use 3DMAX and Sketchup when modeling, and then use MCX to generate BGL files.

I've be told to switch from SketchUp so many times, and now im hearing the one of the Best scenery Ever is partially made with it xD I need your Secret Hahaha

I feel that 3DMAX is indeed much more convenient than Sketchup, but I think the modeling software is just a tool, we only need to choose according to personal habits.
There is no secret, I think patience is the most important thing, haha :rotfl:

Nice work, mind telling what method you used to make that hole/slope in the terrain, I had been trying to make a sloped drainage system, but failed couple of times
