P3D v4 Tinted Windows in V4, How?

In Prepared, I have to increase darkness in the Alpha channel for plexiglass as it gets very white. This also causes tinting to be lost. Is there a work around?

You probably want your alpha layer to control opacity, from clear to opaque and you'd want your diffuse texture to control color, which tinting would be.
Here are tinted sunglasses.

Here is the texture, the part for transparencies is circled in red. The alpha layer is set to a light gray in that area to give a slight opacity.
