Translating FSX to FS9 in gauge XML; Locations

Hey guys,

I am studying some of the Aces gauge XML from FSX to use in FS9, but I am curious on one thing. On the gauge coordinates, can I be assured that coordinates are the same as FS9 but without the 'tripple decimal' following?

For instance; would 123.000 in FSX be the same as 123 in FS9?

Many thanks for your input,

Bill

Yes, you may be certain of that...

In fact, you CAN even specify fractional coordinates in FS9 as well, such as <Axis X="12.5" Y="19"/> for example... :D

Roger that. Thanks Bill.

The closer I looked at the FSX code, the more I saw that it was actually a duplicate but with changed string names. Skript is actually Value, etc.

I thought about it.. How goofey can this be. But I guess they didnt want their new FSX gauges working in FS9. That can be the only reason for making XML different. Why recreate the wheel? right?

I can look into that panel system now of the FSX Embraer and be amazed at how it works. Very nice... Thanks for the heads up on that one.
