• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Placing of some Scenery objects.

The big red empty truck (Vehicle Land/Car Truck9 red) which some call flatbeds! to place the following cargo on it.

Using Miscellaneous: Cargo01, Cargo02, Cargo29 and Cargo30, alt = 1.45m Alt

Start them 6m from front of the truck………..

Sitting on Forklift: blue, grey, white and yellow, if using Cargo02 set the scale of the forklift to 1.1, Cargo02 = 0.95m Alt, just move hoist to sit on the forks correctly using the same heading.
if using it near the (Vehicle Land/Car Truck9 red) above or near an aircraft

Sitting on Forklift: blue, grey, white and yellow
Miscellaneous:
Cargo29, Cargo30 = 0.85m Alt, I seem to remember Cargo30 is on a pallet which the forks can go in so can be lowered it a bit if desired! i just found the file i did for someone and to fit the forks in the pallet set the Alt to 0.78m
move hoist to sit on the forks correctly using the same heading.
Cargo01 is a bit small to fit neatly on the forks unless you make the scale of the forklift smaller

All the airport pickups US and Euro,
Euro: Cargo01, Cargo29 and Cargo30 = 0.8m Alt,
US: Cargo01 = 0.8m Alt, not sure if Cargo29 and Cargo 30 will fit in the back not tried these.

Cargo Box on top of Cargo Box,

Cargo01 on Cargo01 = 0.9m Alt
Cargo29 on Cargo29 = 1.2m Alt
Cargo30 on Cargo30 = 1.56m Alt

All cargo sitting on Platformliftblue/grey = 0.3 Alt

resizing of some objects can sometimes also work.
