• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

No prob! Thanks for the speedy response. It appears that it's changing the "category" of the nodes from "sculpt" to "airport poly" and that's throwing something off. Thanks a bunch!

During triangulation, sculpts become nodes in sloping polys - which generically are flattened airport polys. Is this what you mean?

No, this is what happens. On the left is what I get when I load my backed-up project to go in to edit a node. I can edit the elevation and all of that, and it allows me to triangulate it and export it as normal.

When I SAVE the project and come back to it later, I open it and I get the box on the right where I'm unable to do anything with the elevation and it will not allow me to load up a blend profile and triangulate it.

Thanks. Fortunately, the cause was easy to identify. (The issue was in the project loading routine.) Actually, you highlighted two issues, the other being that the assigned texture was not shown in the Node/List Editor combobox. That too is now fixed.

I'm going to chase a couple other elusive minor issues for a while, but I will re-release later today
