• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v6 Turn old aircraft into new

In this thread I will introduce you to aircraft from P3D v4 or FSX that have been or will be ported to P3D v5 and P3D v6 by means of modifications.
The mods are available for download at Simmershome. In der filebase von Simmershome findet ihr auch die Beschreibungen, was realisiert wurde.
So there is also something good about everyone developing only for MSFS. You can design what you want in P3D in peace and quiet, provided that the original aircraft are installed correctly

Carenado DO228B WIP Interior Mod

Good evening friends of aviation. If there is a video here, then there will soon be something new for the gold members at Simmershome to test and then the mod for everyone. The aircraft has actually been completely overhauled and everything works. I'm talking about the Carenado Do 228-B.

What comes next? A machine that Frank has largely made. It's the Real Air Duke Turbine v2

But first the video of the Do 228

Today there is "old iron" from RealAir that Frank ( @N7155N ) has largely adapted for P3Dv5 and v6 on his own. I reworked the lights and the model and made small changes to PBR.

It is the Duke v2.

The airplanes are not freeware, but the installers are free to download. RealAIr appeals to the fact that you are or were a customer.

Here is the link: https://www.realairsimulations.net/

The download is only the mod. The original must be installed. The main directory also contains instructions on how to install a GTN in the panel.

The download is online for all members of simmershome

And here comes the next collaborative work with a video for you

It's the Carenado Saab 340

Features:

- full PBR
- original effects restored
- Models completely optimized
- bend lighting with superimposed dynamic light built in
- all lights fully available
- all systems usable
- universal FMS can be exchanged with RXP GTN
and much more...

Here the video

Tomorrow the mod will be sent to the gold members at Simmershome for testing and then to everyone in the filebase.

We still had something in the pipeline. The D17 Staggerwing
However, I have changed a few things for P3D v6.
In addition to full PBR, there are also new lights and the option to fly at night with GPS
In the standard version there are only landing lights and no strobes, no autopilot and therefore no GPS.
The aircraft is a very nice taildragger that is really fun to fly

My favorite planes are the RealAir Dukes! According to the website registration is closed until 8/9, so will I just have to wait a few days and check back to download the mod?

Vielen Dank,
Chris
