Anyone know if there's going to be a P3D V5?
Or will they even bother with FS2020 coming out?

Yes they will. We're not the target audience (we're not even on their radar), so the decision to produce or not produce a V5 depends solely on their commercial base.Or will they even bother with FS2020 coming out?
You recently released a major update, but is there anything you are working on now or coming up?Anyone know if there's going to be a P3D V5?

The P3D main customer is military and it’s purpose is to provide simulated military training where that can be realistically achieved. As a byproduct it picked up a group of military minded flight simulator pilots and released a 64bit improvement on what FSX could do. I’m in that group and fly with two virtual air forces. Our flying enjoyment depends on high frame rates when flying with a large number of flying sim objects, pretty scenery hardly gets noticed and all clouds are a nuisance.
From what I have seen so far, FS2020 is far removed from what I want from flight simulation and as such I have no interest in it at all.

Uh........P3D, as is FSX, is dead in the water. >SNIP!<
Wow Mitch, troll much? That's quite a difference in perspective! Some big life changes, or something, since Aug 17th?P3D, as is FSX, is dead in the water. Frankly, they are arguably the same cartoon'ish platform with one out-doing the other in one way or another. Both were ported outside of MS for development. FS9 was MS's last great product and I believe they are now ready to regain there dominance. I cannot blame them. The only platform that as ever challenged FS9, in terms of fluidity, realism, is XP-11. I honestly feel XP drove MS to get back into the market to regain their reign in the gaming world of simulation. Sorry for those who made little things for FSX and PD3, but those are the facts. In the coming days I believe everyone will realize this. All the best.
I can't really put my finger on it, but if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say you kind of looked like you were stuck in FS2004, imo the Minecraft of the FS world, except, it's not supported.I'd like to here what Aviasim has to say about this. She has to be excited. I am. Perhaps when the WGS84 stuff gets figured out we will get a valuable response. This is awesome to see Microsoft addressing their mistakes post FS2004.
Wrong website and wrong forum. This is a developers forum. Suggest you take these really annoying ... is better than ... sim threads to the well known other websites/forums if you really feel the need to do so.P3D, as is FSX, is dead in the water. This is IMO even worse than your first post and definitely insulting. I don't know how many hours of RW flying you have and in which type of aircraft, but assuming that 'one monitor pilots' are gamers leaves me pretty speechless and it couldn't be further from the truth! Now please understand that my opinion is centered around multi-display setups rather than the typical gamer. I'm specifically referencing cockpit builders versus the normal "one" monitor pilot who has to take out a second mortgage to get FSX/P3D to work "to some extent".

Please keep this civil - it seems to be going off topic related to whether there will be a P3D v5.
