• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Taxiways Signs

what software are you using for modeling and baking textures? and how do u get those lights to lighten up the textures?
I haven't used texture baking in this project but the runway lights reflect on the ground because of the qualitywings, they did the FX on their model

Looking great. The texture looks really nice.
If you scale down the photo you posted a bit would be much better.;)
Taxiway lights are done I think.
Also re sized the pictures, I forgot that not everyone has a 1080p monitor and it is indeed a pain.

One small problem... this line has been bugging me for a while now. It seems that the day texture is showing... but I don't know why. It is included in the runway poly and is the same texture as the rest of the yellow line. Any suggestions?

Lights are nicely done. :) What method are you using?

I would also like to know that!

But let me try guess, (let me know if I am wrong)

SCASM Runway and Approach Lights
Effects for taxiway lights

SCASM is correct and Airport for windows 3.0 works great, however I am using the approach lights with it but made my own MALSR and in that MALSR I combined 4 BGL lights together to make a bright light.

Taxiway lights are BGL lights, really old school but work well for me. I have to make the light in the fs2004 gamepack in order to make the LIGHT_NAV box so I can edit the .asm mdlmaker gives me.

I am going to be testing the frames tonight in the Maddog 2010, more to follow.

Evening gents, I caught a slight break from school after taking my CTO exam for the FAA. I have begun more work as usual but this time starting with the taxiway lights. I think the BGL lights are giving me bad FPS even on my i7. There are now FSX dedicated models with splashes.

Work on the FBO is almost finished.
