• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Do the working support vehicle roads mean that the overpasses for the taxiways also work with AI aircraft?

It is vehicle link. AI does not use vehicle link. Taxiway is also supported by AFCAD. AI can pass over the tunnel below but there is no cavity of the tunnel.

Yes, Shaun. The mesh has to be set to 1m. If you don't, there will be spiking of the terrain through the wall of the tunnel model and the surrounding terrain will be like a sand dune, not a sharp trench that fit the tunnel.

At first I don't think I will do the interior of the terminal since it will hurt the fps.
However, I think if I still have headroom to do I will come back to do it in detail. I think it is fascinating to have something inside the terminal.

Tunnel is tough to make since you need to make the model and then go back to the AFCAD and make trench to match the tunnel. Moreover, you need to make platform for vehicles to travel on it. It is like 3 works in each tunnel. I am almost done with tunnels, only one left.
In these two pictures, ground poly is not done yet.

It is really a headache thing since I need to do overlay airport and make taxiway that represents the tunnel gutter. To make the curve match the real thing, I need more taxi points. When those points are closed together, the gutter seems to be bigger than the straight line. It still does not match the Gmax tunnel. :confused: I need to do in ADE and go to look how it does in FSX. Go back a fort almost 20 times.

Need any help with the airport I'm happy to help - ZBAA is an airport that we NEED.
