• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v4 Weeze freeware (released)

Hi Rauwei,

Some nice gp's!
What does it need SODE for?
Since when do they have solar panels on the parking lots? Have not seen those last year.
The Solar panels on the parking lot are new.
It requires SODE for the lightpoles and the taxiway lights.

Great! So much the better for you because it was rather complicated to achieve a good result without SODE.
I see the ground splash but what about light beams? Can you do that also with SODE?Just curious.

Yes, I'll add the light beams when I've finished the buildings!

The buildings will still take a lot of time especially if you want to have the interior of the terminal modeled as well and have transparency for all these windows.
Fortunately (for you) EDLV does not have any jetways:).
Are you working on this all by yourself? (not curious, just wondering;))

Yes I'm doing everything by myself.

Whoo! You are courageous:stirthepo.
Hope you have at least some beta testers that help you (no, I am not soliciting, on the contrary)?

Great work mate, it gets better and better. Just noticed you are not using the original Royal Air Force HAS shelters so far but I think you use the current ones as placeholder, I think?

thank you!
yes, they are just placeholders at the moment.

Just downloaded and tried it. Nice looking Scenery
As it's nowhere documented: it seems to be fully compatible with FSX (so probably with any P3D version, not only v4)

Two small issues I found:
  • Some invisible objects (probably light splashes) cast shadows during the day
  • Some invisible object also made me crash.

Thank you Dave! The problems are fixed.

Hi there!!! How can I download this? When clicking in the links I get an " I need access" to google drive. Thanks

I know this project was released years ago, but just wanted to post here to thank the author should he ever see the response as I've only just come across it. The attention to detail is fabulous, the auto-gen placement looks very natural, the buildings modelled look great as do the ground textures. Always amazes me how generous people like this are on freeware projects and what results can be achieved on a small scale. Very much appreciated, am still on P3D and will be for the foreseeable future and really looking forward to flying in/out of here in Ryanair/Buzz/MaltaAir machines in the coming months. Great work rouwei !!! 👏
