Introduction
This page is to discuss the viability of a co-ordinated Global Scenery Project (GSP) for FSX using FSX_KML and Google Earth.
Because FSX KML and Google Earth makes vector based scenery design easy I think there is the possibility for many users who have no or little experience in scenery design to participate in a global scenery project.
If the efforts of these users could be coordinated then it would be possible to create an large amount of accurate vector based scenery for FSX.
FSX_KML (or a variant of it for the Global Scenery Project) could be updated to include project coordination features, including automatic upload of completed projects to the GSP website.
Anyone have any comments on this idea?

Use of Google Maps to catalog the GSP
Google maps could be used to provide mapping capabilities for the GSP to show:-
- Scenery released
- Scenery in development
- Scenery needing development
Suggested Subprojects
- Worlds great rivers
