The FSX Acceleration expansion-pack extended the functionality of FSX.
Part of this process required re-mapping several keys to other functions.
Problem
You may find that Catapult/Arrestor Ops, Hoist/Sling Ops, or Multiplayer Racing activities fail to respond to keys.
Reason
If FSX Acceleration CTD'd during it's first run, Acceleration's new key mapping fails to write.
Fix
If Acceleration's new key assignments failed to install correctly,
do not attempt to manually add them,
as you're likely to miss some.
You should copy Acceleration's default keymapping file,
Standard.xml from the FSX root folder
into your appropriate location -
| OS | Standard.xml location |
| XP | C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX\Controls\ |
| Vista | C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Controls\ |
Note
If you had mapped additional keys, you will need to reapply those manually.
