BGLC stands for BGL Compiler and is the official compiler that Microsoft provided with their [[SDK]] to generate [[BGL]] files prior to the release of FSX. For FS2004 Microsoft did not release a new version, but the community provided an updated version that allows compilation of objects according to the FS2004 SDK.
