• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Classicsims

Classic simulations was initially formed in late may of 2021 under the name "TopKit Simulations" with development of our first aircraft (currently unreleased) in June 2021.

This project was intended to be a payware until we decided not to pursue that model.

We continued the development on the unreleased project until Late January/Early February and then at that point we as a team decided it was time to pull the plug and stop development knowing full well with the team we had no progress was going to be made.

During early March we went back to the drawing board and continued to think of what we could do next what could be our biggest challenge yet and we came up with multiple ideas.

Some of the original ideas that we planned for we're the Boeing 737NG Family, the Boeing 747-400 and 747-8 Variants, The Boeing 747-200 and 747-300 Variants or the Boeing 737 Classic Family. We can tell you that as of late March we chose the Boeing 737 Classic Family.

So from very late March (last 3 days of March) we had begun working on our most recent and still ongoing project the 737 Classic.

Since then we have amassed over 190+ discord members, 7 New development team members and a whole bunch of handpicked Alpha/Beta Testers.
