• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Thanks but that shouldn't be necessary. I've got a subscription to the AirCorps Library and it's got more manuals than you could possibly imagine. Not to mention the complete engineering drawings.

Thanks for the reply. I just want to add an additional animated Hangar to the airport and a taxiway linking the new hangar to the existing taxiway.
I have attached a pic of where i want it located . You will see the runway and a triangular taxiway i want it in the centre of that linking to the additional taxiway

I need help with installing ProKey in ADE. After I have added the two dll files in Prokey zip to the ADE version 1.76 plugins folder and then restarted ADE, I get an error message as per the attached image. I am reporting this as requested, but I don't know how to proceed as I cannot activate Prokey. Please help.

Just noted your post to me on FSDeveloper and read your thread.
Good to hear you have solved the "reset" yourself with an intermediate Lvar.

Note that my visit to FSDev was quite accidental (just clicked the wrong link).
Since I had a brain tumor three years back (and was operated successfully) , I had to give up on flightsimming design because of memory problems.

I am glad you are still alive. I still remember, '18' years ago, you answered my questions importing scenery in FSX. But I have a simple question about MSFS2024. I want to get into improving, developing again, but wich path should I take? Importing or 'tweaking' or...whatever? For now I dont even know how to download the scenery to improve performance(I guess) I know I have a RTFM syndrom.Kurt

As always I guess the first question is what kind of improvements you want to make. Depending on that you can choose the best approach.

Did you have a look at the SDK and the dev mode already? It has samples on how to place an extra object and such.

On MAIW I have seen mention of a license file to make full use of Model Converter X. Would it be possible for me to obtain that file? I am using the development release.

I am fully aware of the copyright implications, having worked for years in the U. S. on software support, amongst other things.

Jorgen, please send me a private message. It is provided to people who use it to convert their own work to MSFS. Some people in the MAIW team have access to it indeed.

Haven't got back to it completely ... in the first instance, for my own benefit, I've edited the default AP954140.bgl and FL954140.bgl files (managed to remember how to edit flattens!) so's to remove the default airfield completely.
I'll work on release options later.
