• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Fire Extinguish gauge for 4 engine propeller aircraft

Hi Bushpilot. Did only a quick look at Manfred Jahn's C-47 which resulted so far not in new insights. I have installed 2 engine propeller aircraft like the Convair 580 which reacts fine on the code 11 (>K:EXTINGUISH_ENGINE_FIRE) or 21 (>K:EXTINGUISH_ENGINE_FIRE). So I am still puzzled...

Fire Extinguish gauge for 4 engine propeller aircraft

Hi dear reader, I am struggling to get working fire extinguisher gauges for a 4 engine propeller aircraft in Prepar3D v4.5 It is for Jens Boden Kristensen's Douglas C-124 converted for native FSX by LLS. I have been transferring working code in the Boeing 707 by FSND (aka Alrot) However the...

FSX Detecting that Elevator Trim is Changing

Hi sokes2112, Thank you for your quick responding. Unfortunately the code does not work for me because with the 0.003722 &gt value the sound is triggered too soon AND the sound has no chance to play completely because of 0 (>L:SND_STABILIZER, bool) if the difference has not been reached...

FSX Detecting that Elevator Trim is Changing

All these contributions did help me a great deal in creating a stabilizer warning gauge for a MD-11 aircraft. So, thank you very much all! As I am still a XML coder with very few experience I have a question: The stabilizer warning sound must be triggered when the autopilot is on and the...
