• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    Cessna Citation

Been a while since visiting here. But just to add, this project was never dead. I was just too busy focusing on the X-Plane side of it as well as dealing with the Saab we finished for X-Plane. But yes, we're very excited to be working with Eaglesoft on this new version of the Citation.

X-Plane | Aircraft Model Availability Question

Publicly slandering the names of publishers, publishing houses and their developers, without any kind of reason behind it, is probably the most unethical thing you can do.

    DC-3 Reviewed

Just a heads up that my DC-3 that I finished a couple of months ago, as well as the CRJ from JRollon and RealScenery's Oahu, are all reviewed in the current issue of PC Pilot. All 3 products are distributed through the same publisher. http://www.pcpilot.net/view_issue.asp

Yep, gotta spend some to make some!

Citation II model. I deliberately chose it because I prefer to see gauges with moving needles instead of glass displays. This is similar to the one I'm doing. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Venezuela---Air/Cessna-550-Citation/1519918/L/&sid=231e545ff1058bb3a1b0d6207e109c66

Unlike the high poly DC-3 I finished earlier this year, this Citation has far fewer polygons and will run in FS9 or FSX. Just need a flight model and code. Even with the sarcasm, you're going to make me go over it and fine tune it some more. :D

Thank you, gents. Appreciate the feedback. "DXTrans"...No, Blender is used for animations, texturing and panel regions and a final export. The modeling is done in Modo.

Something I've slowly been working on since late last year. Texturing has started.

It's not as high poly as it looks.

    Boeing 747-200

So far, it's about 500 000. Because X Plane can run 1.6 million (my last project) quite easily, I'm going to push out a little more detail and exploit the poly count on this one. I want to try to keep it under the million mark, though.

You could always get X Plane some time in the future...and run FSX, Flight, P3D AND X Plane. ;)

I wouldn't know where to start, brother. I can make pretty much anything (within reason) for X Plane. Flight model and all. But FS9 and FSX is all Greek to me. It's a completely different platform and SDK. If an FS9/FSX developer wants to discuss converting it and making a flight model and...
