• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

That's a nice list where could I find it? I have the list of engines from the time of delivery.

Yes, its a waste of time to make these sub-variants. As far as I know, the 7Q and 70A are very similar internally (maybe identical?). The best thing about it was the long cowl, which made it look better than the standard JT9.

I think that would be really difficult to do; both the panel and the flight deck would need to be created, as they are different on the early -100.(autopilot and other) It would also require modifications to the fuselage behind the upper deck to account for the hump where the systems are housed.

It would be great to have it with the -70A engines. I remember SAS's 747s were equipped with them, and they looked amazing; we rarely saw the CF6s, so the first time I saw them, I thought they were just standard CFs. I took a photo and showed it to my father, who told me they were -70As...

I know that here in Europe, the African 747SPs used to undergo maintenance at Lufthansa's facilities. I'll see if I can find one used in an online shop(Ebay or Other). .

Take your time, don't worry about it. As for the 747SP manuals, I think getting hold of them is impossible; how many were actually produced maybe 100? And, more importantly, how many have survived?😪

Don't worry about the other versions; focus on finishing this one first. Regarding the 747SP flaps, I have this,I don't know if it might help you. This is a JT9D-3.

I ran a quick test, and this is the result (it's not perfect It's made with Paint)

You could make a fake one just by drawing it. We would still have a late 100 without the hump behind the upper deck.

Will you also be making versions with the LTN ? I remember my father flying on ex-British 200-series aircraft that were equipped with them.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't aware of all these differences. I only knew about the difference regarding the autopilot; I’ve only ever been in the cockpit of a 200;I’ve never happened to see the cockpit of the 100.

Do you think it is possible to simulate a late 100(JT9D3) by changing the values on .Air and CFG? we could even just have the model(without Panel) to make the livery?

Yes, I know there's no difference between the SUD and the 300; I was just saying that with a modification, you'd have more models. I have a list of all the 747 Classics ever produced; would that be useful to you? Sorry for my poor English 😢
