• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Purchasing a second copy of MSFS

I don't have MSFS but I don't think purchasing again and downloading would include any updates, I would have thought that any updates would be downloaded and installed the first time you run MSFS, so I think you should just start up your current MSFS and any updates should be downloaded and...

Can get a bit frustrating when trying to do something new, but feels good when you manage to do it. It's looking really good so far. Can I make a suggestion, it would probably be better to UV Map the doors (Passenger & Cargo) with the fuselage so that when the fuselage is painted that any...

    MSFS20 Saab 340B MSFS2020, self training

Looks very good, sometimes it's hard to find photos of parts of the aircraft you are trying to model, especially when they are not shown in the perspective that most photos are shot, the only thing you can do is keep searching for a photo that shows what you are looking for. Keep up the good work.

Have you got a 3 view image of the Saab? Such as the one available here, even though they are not totally accuarate they can help.

    MSFS20 Saab 340B MSFS2020, self training

I think what Sean is trying to say is that after all of the hard work that you have put into producing such a highly detailed aircraft and if it proves to be a drain on the performance of the sim you will most probably get some bad reviews, when modelling an aircraft for a sim there has to be a...
