• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS24 Blender animations offset in MSFS2024

Thanks Anthony. This works! At a later stage I might look at custom code, but that is not my strong point...

MSFS24 Blender animations offset in MSFS2024

OK, will try that. I first thought 0,1,2,3. Then tried 0,20,40,60. Will now try 0, 50 and 100.

MSFS24 Blender animations offset in MSFS2024

Hi all, Busy to get my first MSFS plane done. Steep learning curve, after my last one in FSX ;-) However, I'm progressing. Working on Milton Shupes de Havilland DH.80A Puss Moth, to port it to MSFS (with his permisson, ofcourse). But I run into a strange problem: I make the model in Blender. I...

    MSFS Scenery Lights

This is exactly what I was looking for. I solved it with a work around. It's visible way out, but also splashes light all around. But indeed, a lit orb, like the one on the windmills, would be awesome, coming from blender.

    MSFS20 Visibility

Brilliant Mamu, now the nav light switch works!!! Edit: but not the timing anymore 😕 Edit 2: Ow, and now (I changed the timing code back to 64800) the nav light switch does not work anymore, but the timing does. Even after a restart of the sim etc. This random behaviour is strange. Same...

    MSFS20 Visibility

Guys, I'm by no means a programmer, which makes it pretty difficult. However, I managed, with the help of the above and Mamu's vid, to open my hangar between 800 and 1800 local time. Now I would like to add the possibility to toggle the doors with the NAV light switch, and I thought the code...

Well, succes at last. Thanks Dick. We are working on a scenery for the old Airmail beacon system in the USA. And in the Columbia River gorge, there is a system of red and green flashing beacons, to keep the old crates in track in the narrow gorge. Thanks to your suggestion, of placing a realy...

Adding User Created Scenery / Object doesn't appear in the object list / please help

OK guys. I've started with a little project, but I run into the same issue. My model just doesn't show up. It compiles ok from Blender 3.1, using the MSFSToolkit 0.40.0 . I have a *.bin, *. gltf and *.xml file. Textures go into the texture folder, during compilation. I followed...

    Animation export to glTF?

Hi all, new to the forum (after some time away from Flightsim in general) I did some FSX conversions with the concent of the original authors like the Milton Shupe DeHavilland Puss Moth. I only made one plane for FS9 and FSX (the Douglas DC2 Uiver) and would love to get it going in native MSFS...
