Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:
- Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
- Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
- Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
- Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
- Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
- Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.
Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.
By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I just watched a video which focused on the largest freestanding wooden railroad trestle in the world which is located in Southern California. Thanks for your help! rhumbaflappy was kind enough to send me a copy of the two folders. Mine were corrupt. In all of the back and forth, I totally forgot to ask either of you for a copy of your files. It was the only thing in common between my two systems. Anyway, we can put this to rest... -

I like your use of two different Blenders for 2020 and 2024. This (unfortunately) brings up another situation. When attempting to enable the 2024 exporter in Blender 4.5.10, I get yet another error! Says "No module named 'io_scene_gltf2.blender.imp.gltf_blender_image'" and it won't enable... -

The top one is an importer that allows you to fetch the Asobo model for creating liveries. Has nothing to do with exporting or converting existing models. Second one down is version 3.3.1 which I downloaded and installed from links in this thread. Third one down is installed from 2024 SDK... -

Yes, cleared out both folders. I'm very familiar with the "roaming" folders for containing the addons and configurations. Installed version of 2024 SDK is 1.6.9 In my "SDK2024/tools/Blender folder I have 1 folder "_addons_utils" (not sure what to do with this if anything,) and two .zip files... -

The top one in my addons is to import models into Blender. It says "import-export" but I think it's only an importer. The bottom one I thought I read somewhere should always be enabled and thought this one is installed with Blender.(?) Disabling everything but 2024 didn't solve anything... -

Very interesting! I've never seen the additional options under that menu! When I click on "MSFS2024" all I get is Then when clicking it, I get: then if not "configured" properly (as mentioned above) I get the error. Wonder why I'm not seeing the extra items in the menu? NOW it's obvious... -
