• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS20 (Released) VABB Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport CSMIA Mumbai

Is looking amazing! I would actually take the static models and add those extra edges to kill the faceted faces, we are in the new gen, no need to be that conservative with polys specially when MSFS can handle it. As they are looking quite looking poly around the first door, there is also some...

    MSFS20 WIP BAe146-300

No worries, I get it that it was like a blockout and then you progress to add more details and so on. Still the Attitude Indicator Gauge, I can see the faceted edges so it still is quite low poly. The rest looks fine.

    MSFS20 WIP BAe146-300

It is looking great but, also some parts of the airplane fuselage are looking quite low poly. I will add more resolution to it as its a flyable vehicle, not an AI model and geometry isn't as expensive as it used to be. AS well some of your avionics are quite low poly and others are quite high...

Reggio Calabria Airport - LICR for MFS

I like that it is feeling vivid and a lot is happening in the shots. But the colors of the terminal are looking quite flat and the windows feel like a pasted picture without any kind of reflection or specular at all.

P3D v5 PBR textured dumpster using Quixel Mixer

It does look good. Keep it up. My only feedback would be that the textures are a bit too rough so I would play more with the smoothness and give it a bit more of a shine, especially on those parts where the metal is getting revealed.

    Project-ENTO Sandefjord - Airport Torp 2020, Norway for P3D v5.

I agree with Marc. There is something off about the dimensions. Or it can also be that those tiles textures they look quite flat, but this could be because the Texture is either to bleached out or the lighting scenario in the sim compared to the IRL pic. They also lack depth and look flat. Maybe...
