So, while modeling the sky train layout for EDDL I thought I'd just make standard beems (the rail) and bend those. However as we know bending (with the bending in the simple deformer modifier) can only be done with an object over the X-axis.. Coninsedence has it that that's not the direction the model is in (see .img 1). So how am I going to bend this... I thought of two ways but can't quit figure out the details for either... One would be to cut the beems with Ctrl+R and then move and rotate, although that won't give a good result. Or get the beem on the X-axis and move from there, however also here I won't get the correct angle....
