• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Adding a custom waypoint to PMDG planes in MSFS.

Hello, so I am trying to add a custom waypoint to the NAV database in the PMDG aircraft for MSFS. I was able to do this in P3D, but I need some help doing it in MSFS. I see the NAVDATA is now in an SQL Database format, and I think I understand the basics of how and what I need to do to add a waypoint into the database; however, when I try to add the waypoint in the legs page of the FMC, it says not in database. One thing I noticed when trying to fix the issue was that the waypoint doesn't seem to show up in the SQL editor unless I filter the name specifically. For example, if I put QUASR in the filter box, which is the name of the waypoint, it will show up, but if I filter by ICAO code, then it will not show up in the list of waypoints with that same code.

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? I will post a pic so you can see how I entered the waypoint into the database.

Thanks
