• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi guys,
I've been trying for months to solve the issue with Lamont Clarks AIC2r2 add on. AIC does not show up on the FS add on menu, the only thing there is FSUIPC. I've tried editing my Hosts file, I've installed latest Java and still no luck. I think it's a sim connect problem but I'm a novice when it comes to this stuff.
I seem to think it could be related to an exe.file in the package, as he states in the read me notes to edit the "exe" xml file in FSX to show path to aicarriers.exe but within AICarrirers folder there is no file named "aicarriers.exe".
There is a Java executable jar file just named "aicarriers" and a blue coloured file (application file) named "aicarriers" and another Java executable jar file named "jsimconnect-0.7"
I have the entry 127.0.0.1 localhost in my Host file (this has been an issue for some people) so it's not that(I think?)
I would appreciate any help on this as I know that I'm not alone with this problem and I've tried soooo many forums and have had noooo luck as yet.

If you unzip the 'manual install.zip, you should be able to see an aicarriers.exe.
You are not supposed to do anything with it, just put it in a separate AI carriers directory together with the other files. Make sure you enter the path in your exe.xml as described in the readme.
You do need at least sp1.
