FSX attached effect orientation

Hi,

There seems to be something going wrong when I try to change the orientation of an attached effect. I get all kinds of new entries but not the correct ones! It should be just a matter of changing the heading, pitch or roll, shouldn't it?

Hi Roby,

Yes, you should be able to just alter the heading, pitch and roll values that are given.

If you put heading 200, it might become -160, but that is all the same.

Hi Arno,

I gave the the following entries: 0.00; 180.00; 0.00
And see here what I get!

Hi,

If I put in 0,180,0, I get this:

(-180.00; 0.00; -180.00)

But of course a pitch of 180 degrees does give you weird effect. That is the same are heading 180 and then rolling upside down.

But I don't understand yet why you get a different result.

Morning Arno,

That was mjust an example.
And I do not understand it either.
It is as if the degrees are added up or subtracted depending on whether the heading is positive or negative.

Did you add the effects in ModelConverterX or were they added before in GMax already?

Ok, that's the same I did. Just try to figure out where the different results come from.
