Some of you will be happy to learn that I've found a way, optionally, to save textures individually in the scenery's texture folder rather than in dedicated subfolders and avoid texture duplication issues. (Yeah! I know. It would have been nice if I'd found it several months ago. But, look at it this way, we've made IS2 a better product.)
I've prepared a test version of SAMM containing the new capability. It is available here. If you're feeling adventuresome, please give it a try.
It turned out to be a relatively minor change in the code - restricted to the Placement and Make library modules. But, I suggest you back up your existing models/libraries anyway.
