Hello guys
We have ran up to a very serious problem with ALL textures in FS. After some time they go blurred, especially when rotating around the aircraft fastly with POV hat or active camera, then the textures like can't reload and won't go to normal any more. Reloading them won't help, only restart to FS.
At first they were 1024*1024 32bit, then I resized them to 512 , then to 8 bit, after that tried with DXT1to everything, then 512 mipmaps DXT1. Still nothing. Then i removed the custom made ground, though maybe it is a ressource eater, that didn't help.
It is driving me crazy. The total size of the texture folder is around 30 megabytes with night textures. Compared with OSS Gatwick it is not much at all, 512 size should be ok too. It appears at all 3 designers computers. 2 of them have 1024 RAM and one has 512, so the problem can't be there. I also looked at RAM usage, and it is completely normal.
By removing all buildings with those "bigger" textures the blurred thing goes away. It won´t appear with ground.
I have these things in my mind:
*gmax models are causing this
*placement of the textures in the file ( see picture below, I attatched 2 bmp-s into 1 pic for the shot)
*photoreal ground in the TMA somehow causing it
ALL suggestions, ideas and everything that could help us to solve this problem welcome.
