• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Black lines

Hi,
When I create files with BGL Sbuilder and run the FSX, leaving a black coloured lines linking an image with the other.

Capture the pictures several times, and sometimes go out on one side and sometimes elsewhere. Thus it can not be the perfect scenario and I do not want to go to solve this problem.

I can help, there is some way to eliminate the black line the edges of the images.
Thank you

Does the black line appear at the border of two source images you insert or somewhere else?

Hi,
The black line appears on the border between two images only and always I use Google Satellite images.
If I use Yahoo Satellite images, there is a separation between the two images that fail to get together and go between the two images below the ground that this default FSX.

If the images together in SbuilderX line is dark as seen in the image on the right. But what next, is the gap between the two images.

The curious thing is that just does not happen with all images, and if some others do not.
Thanks

I am afraid I don't know enough about how SBuilder does that. I assume you use the option to download the images from the tool. I always make my terrain scenery from separate files using resample.

i believe the issue is because of inaccurate LOD tables, i've discovered the same thing by using the default LOD data, and have since updated the LOD tables to be more accurate but as yet the data is untested but I should hopefully have confirmation that everything is ok soon...

BTW using Google and Yahoo imagery in sim like that is illegal and violates the Terms of Service...
