Hello guys,
I have decided to take up livery painting. I used to do this very crudely and quite some time ago. So I know VERY limited stuff. In PhotoShop
I have the Q400 paint kit loaded. I have since figured out how to rotate and flip sections and have the airline name and logo in place on both
sides of the fuselage. However my question is this. The official color of the logo changes, if I place the layer all the way behind the window line
and door markings as the blending mode is normal. Because the base kit already has its base shadows, the normal blending mode darkens the logo.
Is this an accepted method for livery painting? I can't move the logo layer any higher as then part of the logo will block the base door paint and decals.
I tried the other blending modes, but all completely change the logo color.
Thanks,
Xander
