Hey all,
I have created some custom key settings in X-Plane that mimick Flight Simulator. The only thing with XP is that they do not have a multi purpose assignment for views, such as S key in FS. You select a view key that goes to 'that' view. On mine, I have 2D panel on W key, VC on S key, A is Spot Plane view. Q and R are 'look left, look right. Whats cool on this local setting is that you can keep your three fingers of left hand on those keys (ASD) similar as to using Max or Gmax with Max settings (WER keys), or like in some other popular PC games such as Mass Effect.
Not all of the keys are changed over. I need to work more on this master setting. Note, this is a PRF file. I believe its the same as a Notepad TXT file format. (I could be wrong, I cant remember how I programmed Windows to open them, but they are the same as config (CFG) files.
